What to Expect
Your First Visit: History, Examination, Treatment
For our initial consultation, we will talk about why you have come, and your goals & intentions for care. We use this time to get clear and specific about what you want to attain for health and well-being.
Next, we will do an examination including measurements and tests as well as a postural evaluation. This will provide the baseline to measure the improvement and change of your spine, body, and overall health.
Then, you will receive your first care session. This will vary depending on what we have discovered but will include gentle contacts to begin the process of change in the spine and nervous system.
The first visit typically takes 45-60 minutes.
Your Second Visit: Review, Plan, Treat
Our second visit will begin with a review of findings from the examination and posture evaluation on the first visit. We will talk about the current state of your spine and nervous system, and then discuss expectations and intentions for meeting your health goals.
Then you will receive your next care session, along with information about what to expect on your care journey.
This second visit typically takes 45 minutes.
What people say…
“I was involved in a car accident. I heard how well Dr. Lampshire helped others and decided it would fit best with my injuries. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly I started feeling better and having less pain, along with how comfortable and at ease I have been with the care.”
~A.A., Psychotherapist
“If a friend or loved one asked for my advice about getting help to start them on the right path to a better life I would suggest that for pain they start with Dr Lampshire before visiting anyone else!”
~D.G., Business Owner
“This experience has opened my heart / mind to possibilities I never knew existed before. Unfortunately, I imagine most people don’t know that peace exists.”
~C.F., Nurse
“I enjoy skiing and use it as a barometer of my fitness and flexibility. Since I’ve been in care with Dr Lampshire, I have a new awareness of muscles, my balance and imbalances. Last winter I realized my skiing had improved. This winter I again notice and have even more awareness of my lower back, hips and overall balance. I also am aware of my mid back and core. My pain is gone, and my flexibility and balance are better.”
